Quicktime movies of internet collaborations

I am a member of an on-line artists collaborative group, OTIS/SITO. One of our activities involves trading digital images over the network, manipulating the images, and sending them out to be manipulated again, each in their turn, simultaneously creating and destroying them. On this page are four examples of these images, each done by different groups of people, which I was a participant, that I then combined into quicktime movies.

Andy Sleeping 6 meg .mov file

This movie is composed of a series of manipulations of an image of a sleeping computer lab technician's flickering dream images made visible. December, 1995.

Ronald in Suit 2 meg .mov file

This sequence of images has a loose Halloween theme. A comic version of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and a comic version of Frankenstein by the american right. October, 1995.

Circular 736K .mov file

An abstraction, This circular based manipulation is best viewed when your movieplayer is set to loop, back and forth. January, 1995.

Amerika 2 meg .mov file

Perhaps this is a comment on american society from abroad, although I am not sure. Two of the artists that participated in the image creation are from Europe. The title sequence and animation is a rendered animation I did with Autodesk 3-D studio. October, 1994.
